A VERY SPECIAL MOMENT FOR ALL:

The Mason and Dixon Kennel Club is proud to announce a donation in the amount of

$2,500.00 to the City of Hagerstown Police Department K-9 Unit.  MDKC President 

Victor Guilmino will present the check to HPD Officers Patty Shantz, Tom Bartles, 

Eric Knode and Detective Brian Hook at the February meeting of the MDKC.   

Members of the MDKC were inspired to make the donation after a presentation of 

Officers Shantz and Bartles and their K-9 dogs in 2007.  Historically, officers have had 

to travel to other locations for training.  With this donation, officers will be able to construct

 their own training course that will be used locally.  

The MDKC is proud to make this this donation to these wonderful Officers and their very

 hard workingcanine assistants! These police dogs give uncompromisingly to the residents

 of this county.  We are glad we can give something back to them for all the hard work

 they do for each and every one of us.
