In the fall of 2007, Police Officers Patty
Shantz and Tom Bartles of the Hagerstown Police Department
Canine Unit made a presentation with
two of their beloved Patrol dogs, 'Nora' and 'Queen' to the Mason Dixon Kennel
Club. During that presentation, club members
wanted to give a gift to these hard working Police Officers and their dogs to
help them in training these wonderful dogs.
The Canine Unit accepted a check in the
amount of $2500.00 from MDKC President Vic Guilmino on
February 4, 2008. It was a wonderful evening as you can see
from the photographs:
