Our Welcome-Back-All-Important-Meeting is on

September 11, 2006 at 7:30PM.

#1: To BEGIN our meeting, Dr Tracy A Barlup of Longmeadow Animal Hospital on Longmeadow Road in Hagerstown, MD will present our Educational Program: Lyme Disease in Dogs (7:30PM).

#2: In accordance with our club Constitution and Bylaws, our Nominating Committee is formed, consisting of three members: Patty Boyst, Barbara Feight, Ron Webb and two alternates: Allison Edwards and Dot Hively.The Nominating Committee has nominated one candidate for each office and six candidates for positions on the Board. These nominees are:

President: Vic Guilmino; Vice President: Ron Web; Treasurer: Sue Guilmino; Asst Treasurer: Sue Layos; Secretary: Midge Tressler; Asst Secretary: Rodica Stoicoiu; Board Members: Fran Brown, Sam Brown, Jane Burrows, Catherine Cooker, Joe Layos, Lisa Webb

#3  Additional nominations may be made at the September meeting by any member in attendance provided that the person so nominated does not decline when his or her name is proposed, and provided further that if the proposed candidate is not in attendance at this meeting, his or her proposer shall present to the Secretary a written statement from the proposed candidate signifying his or her willingness to be a candidate. No person may be a candidate for more than one position, and the additional nominations which are provided for herein may be made only from among those members who have not accepted a nomination of the Nominating Committee: Article IV, Sect. III MDKC Constitution and Bylaws

    OUR ANNUAL MEETING will be held on October 2,2006 at which time Officers and Directors for the ensuing year shall be elected by secret, written ballot form.
